For geological research activities through drilling into geothermal water deposits, TRANSGEX owns the following equipment
The company manages several wells with depths between 1500-3500 m. The most important services and applications related to the exploitation of geothermal waters are taking place in Bihor County, mainly in the municipality of Oradea, Beiuş and Livada town.
TRANSGEX won in 2014 the execution of the project “Harnessing geothermal water for the district heating of the Emergency Hospital Prof. Dr. Agrippa Ionescu”, situated in Baloteşti, Ilfov County. The project is ongoing until the end of autumn 2016.
TRANSGEX is a partner of Oradea City Hall within the project “Harnessing geothermal energy for producing heating agent for the consumers of the thermal unit PT902 with the reinjection of used geothermal water into the reservoir”, given the fact that TRANSGEX owns the license to exploit the deposit Oradea.
In terms of geothermal water use, the city Săcueni is positioned on the 3rd place in Bihor County, right after Oradea and Beiuş municipalities.
